So, I was just sitting at home and quarantining when I discovered the #21DaysOfCode challenge by progate. I was initially confused what is it that I would be doing this summer because I had no particular direction! And this is the case with most of us first years!

So I took up this challenge and started progressing slowly! Surprisingly it’s been days and days and i am still coding. I’ve covered Python, git, command line, SQL, HTML,CSS and javascript on this platform alone. It enabled me to get my hands dirty with a project that i made. And i am still progressing! Currently I am on Go and react , managing both of them simultaneoulsy.

The advantages I got doing this challenge are many. I gained confidence in myself and developed a sense of regularity. I have already covered a huge chunk of stuff and it is still progressing. All in all i am actually inspired by this platform and happy that my quarantine was a success!

“In the world’s broad field of battle, In the bivouac of Life,

 Be not like dumb, driven cattle! Be a hero in the strife!”

These golden words penned down by one of the mightiest poets of all times, H.W.Longfellow ,never cease to resonate in my mind. For most of us are today on the verge of being dumb cattles who possess no driving force …we have nothing to keep ourselves moving in life. People stagnate like the scum that stands on an old undisturbed pool. Their lives are not dynamic and what scares me the most is that they are contended with a static lifestyle. Life is a battle field undoubtedly and we need to put up a brave fight. But for that what is important is to choose our own battles….to discover mountains that are unsurmounted….to look out for depths that are unexplored…lands that are unconquered…But this quest needs to be initiated…we need to set out on a journey to discover our aim to wage a war for its attainment…to unravel the mystery of our destiny!!

“Not enjoyment, and not sorrow, Is our destined end or way;

But to act, that each tomorrow, Finds us farther than to-day.”

Beauty may be a gloomy cloud in sky,

Not alluring just passing by..

Not carrying rain or dreary storm,

It just adds grandeur to the sunset warm!!

They say: that does not please the eye,

Is not beauty, is a lie…

But behold! Beauty is His art,

For it may not please the eye, but…

It captures the heart!!

Shallow eyes are attracted, deep eyes are captivated,

Beauty is rare, for the world is fabricated…

You don’t need a torch for finding it,

For it even glows in the dark..

Beauty is not in the face,

Beauty is a light in the heart.

The dusty winds of may herald her arrival. She enters the city with a gentle rustle of satiny skirts. A glimpse of yellow against a dark green foliage or the russet brown of the autumn leaves is the only indication of her presence .She arouses curiosity which prepares us for her flamboyant debut. She becomes bolder as the sun climbs. From a shy damsel, she becomes a seductress enchanting one and all with her golden beauty. You can find her holding sway over a busy market square or standing in a meditative tranquil silence near the temple. You may find her beckoning a passer by with coquettish warmth or providing succour from heat to a weary traveller. Even to look at her is  to bask in the purity and essence of life!!

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
